Montoya for Congress

This is the official web and campaign site for Luis Montoya, a write-in Republican candidate for California’s 33rd congressional district.

According to the March 2010 Gallup poll, only 16% of Americans approve of the way Congress is handling its business, yet we find that the electorate keeps voting for the same people over and over. What is with this disconnect? I happen to be one of the people who disapprove of the way Congress has been handling very important issues like: handling of the economy, high unemployment, out of control deficit spending, cuts in education. I’m not merely a Republican candidate running for office; I am an extremely concerned citizen running for office.

My inspiration for running for office is not to grab power for its sake, but the increasingly deafening cries from my neighbors and citizens asking for help, but falling on deaf ears.

This June 8 primary vote for someone who will represent YOU. Both Republican and Democrat; black and white; poor and rich; together we can rise up and let Congress know that they cannot ignore us any further!
